Excellent information i think about the m1 I have fired about 100 rounds. My buddy has used them on coyotes and a few deer on the family farm

I load both spire points and the 30 cal m1 bullets. Price varies from $175 to $1850 I'm going to meet a guy to look at one tomorrow and wondered what i need to look for when determining if his price is good

Say, modestly used, in good condition

I came across this marlin 822 in good condition Guy wanted $240 for it I actually saw another one just like it for $300 and a guy bought it I got it for $220

Not bad for rifle, scope, sling, mags I have a few lever action 22 mag rifles and wanted a bolt action to add to collection I have enough 22 mag ammo for a few lifetimes so no ammo. The 14.5 upper with lpvo would be a great match

Allowing for good up close maneuverability in a vehicle or building , lighter weight for carrying and decent energy downrange

I'd go with a flash hider/ muzzle brake hybrid device on the end I've been hunting around for a while for a.357 magnum lever gun to go with my s&w 686 revolver I have several henry's but wanted something a little different so opted for the stainless steel 1854 My initial thoughts are that i like the ghost ring sights and the action seems smooth enough.

This is funny, i originally found the g&g forum about a year and a half ago when i was looking for info on the same gun These good ol boys were so dang nice i been around ever since, and i am sure the members have regretted being so nice every day since, lol My arminius is a cheap (paid $100.00) and reliable shooter Just load in standard 9mm ammo and i'm good to go? 9mm has its own cylinder, if you've gotten the 'convertible' model

I wouldn't recommend trying to put 9mm luger into.357 cylinder

Well that much i already know i would use the appropriate cylinder, but my confusion was over the 'moon clips'. It is not as good as a full choke would be to make buckshot group in the smallest group possible But, with ic and buck if you use a maximum range of 40 yds, you should do pretty good With the 'right' slug load the ic should be good to go out to about 80 yds

It would be best to have a set of rifle sights mounted for slug use. Both are cool options, but for me, a proven design matters The model 29 is a classic, but heavy for carry The auto mag is a beast, but at $4,300, it’s a tough sell

Otherwise, i’d stick with a good.44 revolver like the redhawk or 329pd.

I acquired a s&w 38 special which is very old Checked with book of gun values, and by the serial number it was manufactured between 1899 & 1902 (332482) special marking of a maltese cross on each side of the 38
