New member here, just got the v4 and what an amazing bike It's not so noticable in the streetfighter as in the diavel and multistrada, but ducati has clearly had much longer to design around the v2 engine than the v4 and it shows. I've been not satisfied with the stock exhaust note though i love the quad exhaust set up and how it looks (this is a controversial subject by itself :) i could not find any options to maintain the quad exhaust looks while improving the.
The exhaust is very easy to install and the front header pipe and it’s 3 flange nuts are accessible without removing the left side lower fairing And to be forced to spend twice that of the termi just to make the exhaust at least just blend in I was able to remove all 3 front header flange nuts from the left side of the bike
The only thing i removed was the front spark plug boot so i could swing the wrench a bit more.
I am very disappointed that ducati split the v4 into two different engines As all of us may already know, there is the termignoni option. But almost 3k for an exhaust not counting the time it takes to install is a bit steep.are there any other options Perhaps some to look out for in the near future, before i bite the bullet on the termi?
