The prior gen head unit if it was a jbl stereo it required the jbl amp or the head unit would not work I’m currently looking at the jbl gto series of speakers (they are cheap on amazon and it would be kind of cool to have a “good” jbl system), and a mtx 8” shallow mount sub.
