The oil in these dreamworks 1.5 liter direct injection engines needs to be changed every 1500 miles in my opinion This thread is dedicated to any and all questions and comments pertaining to the ktuner for the 1.5 turbo & 2.0. I own a 2017 honda civic sport touring model and i do all my own maintenance on the car
And i can feel the engine begin to start running rough when the oil needs changed The 1.5, 6 speed although having more torque than the 2.0 does not deliver the enjoyment that the vtec does. And it smells of fuel at 1500 miles.

Can anyone here confirm that the factory oem mhi td03 on the si is larger than the 1.5t ex turbo And are there any big definitive differences between the internals of these two motors? I have a 2017 honda civic hatchback sport touring
I know it's recommended to use premium fuel because of the turbo and that's what i use but i was wondering what the negative effects of using regular fuel would have since it's only recommended and not required. Not to mention it really turns up that turbo sound track People are confusing turbo lag with throttle response The 1.5t has virtually no turbo lag, this is due to the relatively high compression turbo motor
There is a noticeable delay in throttle response though.
I assume the turbo civic 1.5 litre is based on the 1.5 litre non turbo in the new fit Designed specifically for the 1.5l turbo engine found on 10th gen civics our turbo kit will give you the best bang for buck in power your honda can get. The 1.5 cvt, after you get past the turbo & cvt lag, can't be beat for smooth acceleration
