In my opinion, miss claudette is one of the best characters in the show, despite only being in the show for the first season I wish she stayed for the rest of the series, or at least got a better ending When we first get introduced to her, she comes across as really intimidating and stern, but then we discover her backstory and it explains a lot about her Overtime she develops a friendship.
