In my experience all i can see is what you do on brightspace itself You would need to make revisions, and you would need to cite yourself for parts you may be reusing. How long you’re on specific materials, what course materials you open etc
It seems to be just local to our course site You would need permission from the current instructor I haven’t explored fully though because i don’t really care what my students are doing in other tabs etc.

I have significant experience using and supporting d2l (often branded as brightspace) as both an adjunct instructor and as an instructional designer I also have a fair bit of experience with canvas, a small bit of experience with moodle, but only a passing familiarity with blackboard, other than hearing that most instructors dislike it. In brightspace, select your class, then click your profile icon on the top right corner Select “progress” and then under discussions choose “posts authored”
It will show you every discussion post and reply you’ve written for that class.
A lot of people in class discords are going on about brightspace logging when you switch tabs I know that it is technically possible to see when this happens, but do they actually log it From a brief search on the googs, i can't find anything supporting this Has anyone actually been caught cheating in this way?
Brightspace sucks i’ve taught on different platforms and by far canvas has been the most user friendly I haven’t used blackboard in a long time so i don’t know if it got better But i’ve recently had to work on brightspace for this new school i teach at and it is just so annoying There is little intuitive functionality and navigation.

Timed no, once you start you have a hour regardless if you're on the page or not I have had my computer crash during a test and it counted down the 3 minutes it took me to get my quiz back up Now if its unlimited timed quiz then yes you can exit and return to it later. Brightspace is a bit more difficult to pick up and use, and is highly dependent on the instruction staff configuring it properly, but if both of those things are satisfied then brightspace is much more useful than blackboard ever could be.
