When you open ninite you are presented with a list of programs to select from With the exception of ccleaner, they are the programs i use to maintain my computer. Ninite automates installation of publicly available software packages that most likely contain.msi files If you are paranoid, download the.msi files yourself (you should be anyways) and then you have version change control.
