Unfortunately i cant blame helldivers itself for the bad update system, cuz at the end of the day the game relies on steam's content distribution system (steampipe) which is supposed to make updates more efficient

Didnt to any changes to my pc software or hardware wise Fix that worked for me was manually deleting the data folder and verifying integrity of game files again via steam. The helldivers in particular are almost entirely from this group A faction of helldivers, similar to their counterparts, the griefdivers, who mostly do all sorts of chaotic actions to their own fellow helldivers, even at the detriment of their own lives
