2 computers 2 different networks i have 2 hp desktops that i cannot get to communicate with each other However, i cannot connect to the other computers. Did not have this problem before the automatic windows 10 upgrade
The machines are identical except that 1 has windows 10 pro and the other windows 10 home On each computer, i see the other computers in the network list I can see both computers on the network, but cannot access either.

Can't get windows 10 computers to network connect with windows 11 this is happening both ways They see each other's names on the network, but whenever i try to connect i get different errors that seem to point to just generically not being able to connect as if there's knocking on the door but nobody's home. The two computers with standard password login connect to a network share with no problems, the one with the pin login does not
No combination of user name/password works it keeps rejecting everything, have tried logging in using the password instead of the pin but it still rejects any attempt to connect to the network share. If you have a printer connected to and setup on your computer instead, then you will need to share the printer before it will be available to add for anyone on the same network Using the same username on both computers is actually part of the solution so don't change that Check that you have the same password set for this account on both computers as well
Check that the account is an admin one on both computers
