In my opinion the best way is using a program called heroic game's launcher, you can find it in steam deck desktop mode in the application store called discover Just download the program, link your epic games account, and install the games. Go to your epic games directory with windows explorer It's usually c:\program files\epic games, unless you originally installed to a different location

Find the game folder you want to reinstall (get working) and rename it I just put an underscore in front of the original name
