I wanted to extract a pak file from this game to get its sound effects and music to make a fan video It's preventing me from interacting with anything besides clicking 'ok' on the popup which closes the program, despite the browser obviously still working because it's loading all my tabs just fine. I read that one way to extract it is to download unreal engine and after you install that, it comes with a pak extractor tool that you can use to extract pak files.

The game the pak files i'm trying to open from is pumpkin jack I'd like to view the game's models, art, and music but nothing works. So i tried using vortex and most of the mods i want to use don't seem to work, i'm trying bg3 mod manager currently but not all the mods have a.pak file Some have data/resources but no pak file
Can i just not use this mod (even if another mod with a pak file needs this one) or is there a way around it?
